Transgender Risk and HIV

Transgender Risk and HIV was a pilot study finder through the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies and examined the risk factors of gender and gender roles on transgender women who were clients of a family health clinic in the Bronx, New York. Qualitative interviews were conducted with participants, most of whom were Latina. Results demonstrated cultural and structural factors in HIV risk for transgender Latinas.
