Justin Boese (Sexuality Studies MA 2016, SFSU) will share data from his thesis research assessing the climate for LGBTQ+ students at SFSU, followed by a townhall style discussion featuring Rachel Henry (Student Life representative, SFSU), Romaldo Godinez (Queer & Trans Resource Center Director, SFSU), Dr. Mary Ann Begley (Interim Associate VP & Dean of Students, SFSU), and Dr. Mickey Eliason (Assistant Dean of Faculty Development & Scholarship, SFSU).
A moderated panel featuring artist, scholar, and curator Việt Lê (Visual Critical Studies, CCA), sociologist Valerie Francisco-Menchavez (Sociology, SFSU), historian Amy Sueyoshi (Ethnic Studies, SFSU) will present work from their forthcoming research & creative projects.
