What’s The State of SF State? LGBTQ+ Town Hall Discussion

We started assessing the climate for LGBTQ+ students in the Sexuality Studies Program at SFSU this fall with Justin Boese’s thesis research, let’s continue the conversation and talk about our next action steps. We’ll review what kinds of issues are the most common and are significantly effecting students, and explore how can we make the SFSU campus more welcoming and safe for LGBTQ+ students. CREGS Director Colleen Hoff will be attending the President’s Advisory Board for Gender Equity & Title IX meeting on April 24th to present the letter that came out of our first meeting last semester, so we can also use this time to reflect and prepare statements and requests. We’ll have plenty of time for a town hall style discussion. Brought to you by the Center for Research and Education on Sexuality and Gender (CREGS), which is committed to supporting and enhancing the well being of the LGBTQ San Francisco State University community.
