Sex & Race 
Being sexually literate allows us to take thoughtful stock of and celebrate in our differences, including singular and diverse takes on sexuality. Notions of sexuality and sex have much to do with people’s cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds, in turn affecting much of our sexual decision-making. A one-size-fits-all approach to sexual wellness perpetuates social inequality—and contributes to sexual health inequities. And, it shortchanges all of us from a greater appreciation of our diverse sexual histories and how they affect our sexual health, happiness and general well being.
