SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

FOR THE

JANUARY 22-23, 2008

HELD AT: SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY, SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to UCSRT’s Dialogues members who wish to attend the 2008 Sex::Tech Conference in San Francisco. 

Scholarships are open to anyone – student, researcher, or professional – with an interest in sexuality and technology.  Special consideration will be given to those who submit an abstract (abstract deadline Oct. 1), but abstracts are not required to receive the scholarship.

To apply for a scholarship to attend Sex::Tech 2008, send the following information by Oct. 19 to UCSRT Project Coordinator, Praveen Basaviah, at ucsrt@sfsu.edu:

      1)       First and last name

2)       Email

3)       City and state of residence

4)       Position of employment or study

5)       Institution of employment or study

6)       Brief description of your interest in or experience with issues regarding youth, sexuality, and technology.

7)       Abstract submission – yes or no

Decisions about scholarships will be made by the conference organizers based on the relevance of applicants’ interests or experiences to the goals of the conference.
