He will be detailing the emergence of the national sexuality literacy movement while providing conference reflections and steps for moving forward toward the 2009 SSSS Meeting (on Sexual Literacy!!!) in Puerta Vallarta. This is indeed a time of changeâ¦.not just for our country but for the field of sexuality education and research. NSRC is working in partnership with dozens of other organizations and individuals (many of them are here right now!) to ensure that we move the priority of sexual rights and education to the center of our national agendaâ¦and we finally will have a new administration that will work with us toward that end. Weâre excited to be here and take part in this amazing and historic conference! Please be on the look-out as multiple blog postings will emerge over the next several days describing in more detail the workshops, plenaries, poster sessions and socials that make up of the fabric of this exciting sexuality soiree! On a more personal note, days like today reinforce for me why I went into this field to begin withâ”I absolutely do feel that I have one of the best jobs on earth and I am truly grateful for it! Fun in the sun as we work to help people prevent harm, shame, fear and ignorance while promoting pleasure, happiness and health in their lives. It just doesnât get much better than this!
