Support safer sex and win a sexy gift bag from The Body Shop? We say yes, yes, yes!

The Body Shop has joined with MTV for the 'Yes to Safe Sex' campaign--and all the proceeds from their Tantalising Lip Butter go towards HIV prevention. But there's more:

The Body Shop called us yesterday to offer us one of their gift bags with over $100 worth of sexy, fun-for-all-genders schwag: condoms, limited edition Tantalizing Lip Butter, Sensual Massage Oil, and Deep Sleep Dreamy Pillow & Body Mist.  Like you'll want to go to sleep.

Wanna get your hands (or, you know, some other body part) on it? Easy. All members of the NSRC Facebook group page will be entered into a drawing for the gift bag.

If you're already signed up for the NSRC Facebook page, you're already entered. If you're not signed up, click over now. In addition to a chance to smooth on some shea butter, you'll also get instant updates about NSRC news, events and content. And our work gets amplified exponentially through your connections.

Am I advertising for The Body Shop? Yeah. Because their project is terrific. Here's a snip from their site:

"Everyday, 6,000 young people aged 16-24 are newly infected with HIV, according to The Staying Alive Foundation.

A staggering statistic, isn’t it? Especially for people who don’t realize the growing concern about the rising rates of HIV and AIDS. In order to help educate young people on safe sex practices and how to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, The Body Shop has teamed up with MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation to bring you the “Yes Yes Yes!” Campaign.

The Body Shop will be offering our Tantalizing Lip Butter for $8.00. Blending our creamy Community Trade shea butter with beeswax and Dragonfruit extract for a powerful moisturizer with a tantalizing smell. And for every lip balm you buy, we’ll donate a portion o the proceeds to helping spread the word about safe sex.

All net proceeds, approximately $5 from every lip butter, will go to The Staying Alive Foundation, who are committed to raising HIV and AIDS awareness around the world and empowering young people to stay safe. And you’ll get a delicious healing butter that makes your lips soft and kissable."

And who doesn't love shea butter? Our thanks to The Body Shop for getting in contact with us.

And our thanks to you for spreading some shea--and spreading the word about safer sex and the NSRC.

Click over to our Facebook page now to enter, then come back and watch the great campaign ad that's running right now on MTV.
