I believe there is such a thing as love at first sight and getting to know another person is perhaps backing up that theory rather than counterattacking it.  In many relationships, this may not be the case.  But there is a rare beauty out there that does allow for some people to truly enjoy the moments of love at first sight until eternity.  & once in love forever, two people are able to share the experiences and not just the attraction. 

Indeed, being in love in just a moment is not a sure thing for a long-term relationship but allows room to grow into one.  It just really depends on the actions following thereafter, first sight.

Moreover, there are many different definitions of love.  Thus, potentially loving someone at first sight may be an expression of a potential love, though not true love.
